Staff, students, alumni, partners and friends of Leeds Trinity University gathered at University on Friday 1 November to celebrate All Saints’ Day 2019. All Saints’ Day is the patronal feast day of Leeds Trinity University and the anniversary of when the name of its original Men’s College, All Saints, was founded. It is one of the key dates on the University calendar and has been celebrated every year since the foundation in 1966.
Catholic Care represented by Janet Kent (Service Manager for the Schools, Children & Family Wellbeing Service) attended the event as one of the University’s long-standing Partners. The day started with a Mass in the University’s Chapel presided over by the Bishop of Leeds, Bishop Marcus Stock. Mrs Susan Rix, Catholic Care Trustee, also attended the event. Mass was followed by an information afternoon where current students are given the opportunity to sign up to volunteer for a variety of organisations.
