On the 9th of November the residents from The House of Light, Catholic Care’s Residential Home for adults with a learning disability in Leeds, visited the Royal Armouries. The focus of their visit was to listen to an actor taking the part of a First World War soldier describing his experiences on the front line. This was very poignant given that Remembrance Day was only around the corner.
The party also saw a display of Japanese swordsmanship which everyone thought was very good. There was a lot to see and everyone enjoyed the day out.
